Install ScreenWatch Monitor
Install ScreenWatch Client
Uninstall ScreenWatch

Note: You must have Administrator privileges to install ScreenWatch.


Monitor (Instructor)

This component is installed on the computers that will administer/monitor all the client computers.

  1. Place the CD in the drive of the Instructor computer. If the setup does not start automatically, browse to the CD and run install.exe by double clicking on it. If you downloaded the install from our web page, run install.exe from wherever you downloaded the file.

  2. Read and Accept/Deny License Agreement.
    You are required to accept the license agreement to proceed.

  3. Select the Monitor radio button and click next.

  4. Choose folder to install.

  5. Install Microsoft .NET Framework

    The installer may have to download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework. If you are installing from a CD, the framework will be installed from there. If you encounter any messages, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the Microsoft .NET Framework (see requirements)


Client (Student)

This runs on the computers that are to be monitored.

  1. Place the CD in the drive of the client computer. If the setup does not start automatically, browse to the CD and run install.exe by double clicking on it. If you downloaded the install from our web page, run install.exe from wherever you downloaded the file.

  2. Read and Accept/Deny License Agreement.
    You are required to accept the license agreement to proceed.

  3. Select the Client radio button and click next.

  4. Choose folder to install
    ScreenWatch will not run from a network (mapped) drive

  5. Install Microsoft .NET Framework

    The installer may have to download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework. If you are installing from a CD, the framework will be installed from there. If you encounter any messages, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the Microsoft .NET Framework (see requirements)

You may have to reboot your computer depending on your operating system.
