Single Classroom
Most
of our customers purchase a standard single-instructor system. Any
number of computers are connected together and controlled
from the instructor's station in a single classroom.
Dual Classrooms
There
are some customers who have two classrooms
side by side divided by a movable curtain. Each classroom
can be operated independently
or combined, and controlled
from either 'Mobile' Computer Console (MCC) system. This
is accomplished with a command on the (MCC) and the incorporation of LINK
AutoSwitches.
Dual/Multiple Monitors
Today
there is a tendency to have more than one monitor connected to a computer.
With dual monitor configurations, our 'Mobile' Link System has two
video paths that are controlled from one MCC as if only
one monitor is attached to the computers. The operation is the same as
a single classroom--the two video images to/from each computer are always
sent/received on their respective video paths. Like all 'Mobile' Link
Systems, both images can be sent to a projector or 'white board' system.
Dual Instructors
The military
has a need to share any of the student stations with two
instructors. The 'Mobile' Link System will allow the instructor
to select the desired student stations to a given instructor. This allows
one instructor to have control of his/her students independent of the
other instructor within the same classroom. This pertains
to all functions, including the Audio, within the system.
Standard/Language Lab
Audio
Many
of our customers have a need for audio and video control of their classroom.
Our audio system is designed to accommodate the normal two-way
communication (with local audio in stereo) between the instructor and
students.
For 'group' oriented, talk & listen
and record requirements refer
to the Language Lab systems. These features are in addition to the normal
two-way communication between the instructor and students (local student
audio in stereo). Small groups of two or more can be configured by the
instructor with complete monitoring capabilities of both video and audio.
