We have a solution for any type of classroom and any operating system. Let us take care of the technology so you can focus on the learner.
Thus far it is working great and a couple of the faculty use the laptop connection and love it. It is a great way to control what the students see on their screens, especially in a large capacity room. I would not go with anything else. We have been using LINK System since 1998.
S. Hudgins-Summtrahall, ABD, East Central UniversityWe have used LINK Systems from Applied Computer Systems here at SUNY Oneonta for many years in several computer labs. They have had the desired effect of giving the instructor control of the student monitors, so the instructor can focus student attention where he or she wants it. The system is very intuitive to use and so, requires little to no training. These systems have been very dependable and for the few times we've needed it, ACS support has been very good. We are currently in the process of converting from the hardware based LINK systems to the ACS SoftLINK software based system and are having the same success with that.
Mr. English, SUNY OneontaWith DNA, I can generate reports to see results and savings. This is an important feature for us as we weren't able to do this with any other products we had tried before.
KCEOC Community ActionThe LINK Projection System is a great teaching tool to have in our lower school computer lab! I can model and transmit what I want the students to learn and each student can see my monitor displayed on their monitor. Their eyes are where they need to be to complete the steps I am teaching. The blank out button lets me get everyone to stop and focus. I am glad such a device is available for teaching computers! We have investigated some software solutions, but none were nearly as good as the hardware solution for our particular needs. Our lab uses some older educational games and these either would not work, or worked far too slowly, using software solutions. The real beauty of the hardware solution is its speed, and compatibility. Our system was first installed in 1997, yet when we replaced the computers this last summer with new ones (probably the 4th time since the original install), everything kept working great. Also, when we had a power supply go out 2 years ago, we were able to purchase a replacement without problem.
Mr. Cox, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic SchoolThe LINK System is ergonomically beneficial to all the students, an exciting and fun delivery of content, eliminates “bad seat” conditions, and is beneficial to instructor’s time and amount of content to be delivered. The most useful features are transmit, testing, student view, and keyboard/mouse control. My overall experience with the LINK System and Applied Computer Systems, Inc. is wonderful.
Mr. Sheehy, Buckeye Career CenterGreat piece of software, never had any problems with it, always ready when we use it.
Wayne County GovernmentI've used Manager every working day for over 15 years, I couldn't support my customers without it!
Granero Data SystemsManager is very easy to configure and use.
Bradley Estate AgentsThe LINK Systems are still going strong, and if asked, can highly recommend them. However, with our ever decreasing budgets, I doubt we'll be able to upgrade any time in the near future. The big problem with making a good product: They last too darn long!
Mr. Jung, San Mateo Adult SchoolDNA is a product we couldn't live without in IT support - showing us all the information and the devices we have in an instant and giving us quick remote access to our devices to provide support.
Cox Green SchoolThere may be other similar systems out there readily available, either above or below their cost, but with their excellent products, knowledge, and customer service, it is worth every penny to work with ACS, Inc. and purchase the LINK System.
Steve Tomory, Rio Hondo CollegeThe LINK System is excellent, I could not function without it, especially for the primary grades. The feature that benefits me the most is to be able to control each individual computer and also to be able to demonstrate procedures to the class on their individual computer. I use the system all the time to show students how to do different projects step by step. One of the biggest benefits is it is much quicker to be at the computer and help students with questions than to walk around and help students.
Kathy Lyons, St. Mary SchoolGreat product and good support when there is an issue.
Luke Capper, Christ the King Catholic High SchoolWe currently use Notify and have done for a number of years now. It was a great find after we moved from a previous solution. It has been used during critical outages and planned downtime to inform our 6000+ users instantly.
David Smith, Whittington Health NHS TrustSimple to Set up. Simple to Use!
Jamie Stevens, Carter Community SchoolWe use it every class and often for in-house presentations. It is a key element of QuickPen's training program.
Mr. Blair, QuickPen InternationalNotify offers a cost-effective solution for broadcasting messages across your organization.
Dominic Magro, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation TrustThe system works as advertised. It is perfect for our new classrooms.
Mr. Sparks, South Plains CollegeThe system is extremely easy to use and train staff on the ability to send alerts. Having the option to schedule the delivery of the messages is great as well.
St. Joseph's HealthOur faculty wanted to have the options to blank, transmit or control student workstations. I would recommend any type of academic university needing this product to look no further.
