Great product! We have been using it for 9 years and have never considered another product.
Village of BarlettIt attests to the old adage, "build it, and they will come." We very much value it and it's an important part of our teaching in that lab. Several colleagues in our department use it. That lab is seen as real desirable, and has made many projects possible, besides our teaching. Don't know how we did without it. I'm thinking about putting some material about it up on my website, as I think it's really a cool set of tools for us. I remember your helpfulness and support, and have appreciated them very much.
Mr. Barton, Davidson CollegeWe have used LINK Systems from Applied Computer Systems here at SUNY Oneonta for many years in several computer labs. They have had the desired effect of giving the instructor control of the student monitors, so the instructor can focus student attention where he or she wants it. The system is very intuitive to use and so, requires little to no training. These systems have been very dependable and for the few times we've needed it, ACS support has been very good. We are currently in the process of converting from the hardware based LINK systems to the ACS SoftLINK software based system and are having the same success with that.
Mr. English, SUNY OneontaThe LINK Systems are still going strong, and if asked, can highly recommend them. However, with our ever decreasing budgets, I doubt we'll be able to upgrade any time in the near future. The big problem with making a good product: They last too darn long!
Mr. Jung, San Mateo Adult SchoolThus far it is working great and a couple of the faculty use the laptop connection and love it. It is a great way to control what the students see on their screens, especially in a large capacity room. I would not go with anything else. We have been using LINK System since 1998.
S. Hudgins-Summtrahall, ABD, East Central UniversityGreat product and good support when there is an issue.
Luke Capper, Christ the King Catholic High SchoolIt is a great way to notify users of system issues and know that you have got direct visibility on their screens. We previously used e-mail to send alerts, but we were not always sure users read them in a timely manner, not to mention the extra workload on the e-mail system.
Rentenbach Inc.We were lacking the ability to monitor our student(s) while on desktops. Teacher(s) would have to walk around the classroom to keep our student(s) on task. It was difficult for a teacher to tell whether a student was following along with class work or surfing the internet and visiting non-related school approved websites. With the implementation of SoftLINK our teacher(s) can now monitor all student workstations from their desktop. The content filtering has been awesome for us. The student(s) are definitely kept on task. Our teachers get a lot of use out of SoftLINK's other features also. I would say Applied Computer System's service and technical support would definitely be a 10+.
Mr. Fallis, Crow Creek Tribal SchoolsIt is reliable and easy to use and gives us confidence that all users will be able to use it in an emergency.
Clare Bourne, Furze Down SchoolNotify helps us with our lockdown procedures.
Chris Wilson, Ormiston Forge AcademyNotify is extremely easy to use and train staff on the ability to send alerts.
St. Joseph's HealthNotify has worked perfectly every time we have needed to use it!
Dereham Sixth FormDNA has solved all of our needs and has even more functionality than we expected.
UNICEFThe LINK System is ergonomically beneficial to all the students, an exciting and fun delivery of content, eliminates “bad seat” conditions, and is beneficial to instructor’s time and amount of content to be delivered. The most useful features are transmit, testing, student view, and keyboard/mouse control. My overall experience with the LINK System and Applied Computer Systems, Inc. is wonderful.
Mr. Sheehy, Buckeye Career CenterFantastic products that enhances productivity and supports safeguarding in our environment.
Andrew Gibson, Bradfield SchoolWe chose Notify as it fits the bill entirely, allowing us to distribute the console to several departments who can send targeted notifications with different priority levels.
Kettering General HospitalNotify has been a valuable tool for us to ensure that in the event of a "lockdown" incident, we're able to instantly communicate with users across the academy to ensure that everyone remains safe.
David Runnals, East Wickham Primary AcademyEasy, quick and accurate notification to our staff related to emergency situations on their desktop.
State Governmental AgencyIt's useful to be able to connect into other machines and being able to set individual polices on those machines. Another great element is being able to remotely use applications such as task manager, powershell and command prompt without having to disrupt user.
Arun Abraham, Testwood SchoolThe features that really attracted us are the phrase matching and USB controls, both of which are much improved over our previous system, and the price being half what we were paying!
Matt Furneaux, Humphrey Davy School
