The LINK System is ergonomically beneficial to all the students, an exciting and fun delivery of content, eliminates “bad seat” conditions, and is beneficial to instructor’s time and amount of content to be delivered. It is a great way to notify users of system issues and know that you have got direct visibility on their screens. We previously used e-mail to send alerts, but we were not always sure users read them in a timely manner, not to mention the extra workload on the e-mail system.

The system is extremely easy to use and train staff on the ability to send alerts. Having the option to schedule the delivery of the messages is great as well.

It shows who has read and acknowledged the alert from the central admin console and even gives us the ability to brand the pop-up notice with our own logo!

The LINK Systems are still going strong, and if asked, can highly recommend them. However, with our ever decreasing budgets, I doubt we'll be able to upgrade any time in the near future. The big problem with making a good product: They last too darn long!

We have used LINK Systems from Applied Computer Systems here at SUNY Oneonta for many years in several computer labs. They have had the desired effect of giving the instructor control of the student monitors, so the instructor can focus student attention where he or she wants it. The system is very intuitive to use and so, requires little to no training. These systems have been very dependable and for the few times we've needed it, ACS support has been very good. We are currently in the process of converting from the hardware based LINK systems to the ACS SoftLINK software based system and are having the same success with that.

DNA is a product we couldn't live without in IT support - showing us all the information and the devices we have in an instant and giving us quick remote access to our devices to provide support.

DNA for us is used in a manner to keep staff more accountable for their usage of technology, which in turn means more time spent on work and less time spent surfing the web.
