We have a solution for any type of classroom and any operating system. Let us take care of the technology so you can focus on the learner.
We chose Notify as it fits the bill entirely, allowing us to distribute the console to several departments who can send targeted notifications with different priority levels.
Kettering General HospitalDue to there being many automated processes within DNA, it really has saved the IT team a lot of time from device discovery to application monitoring and enterprise reporting, it has really improved our performance.
Dermont Woods, Cork National Roads OfficeThe system is extremely easy to use and train staff on the ability to send alerts. Having the option to schedule the delivery of the messages is great as well.
St. Joseph's HealthDNA is so easy to use and helps us keep a watchful eye over students as they use computer equipment.
Joanne Hughes, Cherry Fold Community Primary SchoolThe LINK Projection System is a great teaching tool to have in our lower school computer lab! I can model and transmit what I want the students to learn and each student can see my monitor displayed on their monitor. Their eyes are where they need to be to complete the steps I am teaching. The blank out button lets me get everyone to stop and focus. I am glad such a device is available for teaching computers! We have investigated some software solutions, but none were nearly as good as the hardware solution for our particular needs. Our lab uses some older educational games and these either would not work, or worked far too slowly, using software solutions. The real beauty of the hardware solution is its speed, and compatibility. Our system was first installed in 1997, yet when we replaced the computers this last summer with new ones (probably the 4th time since the original install), everything kept working great. Also, when we had a power supply go out 2 years ago, we were able to purchase a replacement without problem.
Mr. Cox, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic SchoolA really useful tool that allows us to remotely support users from all over the world, from anywhere in the world.
Arcadia PetroleumQuick and easy use to notify our staff of problems. I have recommended the software to many colleagues.
State Governmental AgencyWe needed a way to effectively put information in front of our students and the LINK Projection System does that. Every student has a computer and the ability to broadcast directly to their screen instead of a projected image in the front of the room is awesome. For many students, having the information right in front of them is a much more effective tool than general classroom projection. It is also nice to have the ability to blank the computers so that students are not ‘surfing’ during instruction.
Ms. Gordon, Watkins Memorial High SchoolThe LINK Systems are still going strong, and if asked, can highly recommend them. However, with our ever decreasing budgets, I doubt we'll be able to upgrade any time in the near future. The big problem with making a good product: They last too darn long!
Mr. Jung, San Mateo Adult SchoolWe have used LINK Systems from Applied Computer Systems here at SUNY Oneonta for many years in several computer labs. They have had the desired effect of giving the instructor control of the student monitors, so the instructor can focus student attention where he or she wants it. The system is very intuitive to use and so, requires little to no training. These systems have been very dependable and for the few times we've needed it, ACS support has been very good. We are currently in the process of converting from the hardware based LINK systems to the ACS SoftLINK software based system and are having the same success with that.
Mr. English, SUNY OneontaWe were lacking the ability to monitor our student(s) while on desktops. Teacher(s) would have to walk around the classroom to keep our student(s) on task. It was difficult for a teacher to tell whether a student was following along with class work or surfing the internet and visiting non-related school approved websites. With the implementation of SoftLINK our teacher(s) can now monitor all student workstations from their desktop. The content filtering has been awesome for us. The student(s) are definitely kept on task. Our teachers get a lot of use out of SoftLINK's other features also. I would say Applied Computer System's service and technical support would definitely be a 10+.
Mr. Fallis, Crow Creek Tribal SchoolsNotify has been a valuable tool for us to ensure that in the event of a "lockdown" incident, we're able to instantly communicate with users across the academy to ensure that everyone remains safe.
David Runnals, East Wickham Primary AcademyNotify works as advertised, easy to setup and support. It is used throughout the school for all manner of notifications, from everyday messages, to technical and alert messages.
Stephen Boddy, Sunnyside AcademyThe LINK System is THE key piece of technology in our chemistry studio classrooms. Because of this system, every student has a front seat! The LINK System provides seamless, always-compatible, high frame rate video to each of our students, as well as student-teacher interaction and remote control. Images and data from a document camera, digital microscope, DVD, laptop, student computers, and other video sources can be displayed easily and controlled with a simple touch screen. Worth every penny!
Mr. Abrams, Truman CollegeEasy and reliable - the whole package ticks a lot of compliance boxes at an affordable price.
James Barraon, Brighton and Hove High SchoolNotify is an important tool in our emergency plan.
Cotham SchoolYes all is well with the LINK System. It is the best teaching tool I have ever used. We have new SmartBoards in our classrooms but one of my students just yesterday said they prefer the LINK System for my demonstrations. I agree.
Mr. Baierwalter, Bluffton H.S.We were looking for a management tool to enhance instruction and to allow the monitoring of students as they work. We tried several network systems but found the intensive graphic requirements of the cad and 3D solid modeling software made the video response too slow.I saw the LINK System used at a local college, that was all it took. I knew I had to have it! The ability to focus each student on their own screen during direct instruction is invaluable. The ability to take control of the student station from the teacher station is important. If a student has a question there is no need to go to that station. If you would like to use that student’s screen for helping or instructing other students you can transmit that individual student’s screen to all the other student stations. We have used the LINK System since 1999. Applied Computer Systems is excellent. Their customer service is second to none! They are prompt, and courteous. If you call with a problem, they will do whatever it takes to solve that problem.
Mr. Wright, Bloomfield Central School DistrictGreat piece of software, never had any problems with it, always ready when we use it.
