The LINK System is THE key piece of technology in our chemistry studio classrooms. Because of this system, every student has a front seat! The LINK System provides seamless, always-compatible, high frame rate video to each of our students, as well as student-teacher interaction and remote control. Images and data from a document camera, digital microscope, DVD, laptop, student computers, and other video sources can be displayed easily and controlled with a simple touch screen. Worth every penny!

It's useful to be able to connect into other machines and being able to set individual polices on those machines. Another great element is being able to remotely use applications such as task manager, powershell and command prompt without having to disrupt user.

We have found the LINK System set ups are very beneficial to our instructors. They no longer have to constantly walk around the classroom to look over student shoulders to see how they are progressing. Instructors can interact with students having issues and blank all the screens when they want their attention. The most valuable feature is the instructor’s ability to monitor dual screen audio/video. ACS has been very receptive to our requests and designed special capabilities for us when needed.

The LINK System is ergonomically beneficial to all the students, an exciting and fun delivery of content, eliminates “bad seat” conditions, and is beneficial to instructor’s time and amount of content to be delivered. The most useful features are transmit, testing, student view, and keyboard/mouse control. My overall experience with the LINK System and Applied Computer Systems, Inc. is wonderful.

The LINK Projection System is a great teaching tool to have in our lower school computer lab! I can model and transmit what I want the students to learn and each student can see my monitor displayed on their monitor. Their eyes are where they need to be to complete the steps I am teaching. The blank out button lets me get everyone to stop and focus. I am glad such a device is available for teaching computers! We have investigated some software solutions, but none were nearly as good as the hardware solution for our particular needs. Our lab uses some older educational games and these either would not work, or worked far too slowly, using software solutions. The real beauty of the hardware solution is its speed, and compatibility. Our system was first installed in 1997, yet when we replaced the computers this last summer with new ones (probably the 4th time since the original install), everything kept working great. Also, when we had a power supply go out 2 years ago, we were able to purchase a replacement without problem.
